The students have a choice between four daily menu selections including M=Meat, V=Vegetarian, DF=Dairy Free, and GF=Gluten Free options. There are two hot selections and two cold selections, daily. Each dish can be selected in two sizes, Regular Lunch (available to all students but generally appropriate for grades TK-4) or a Big Lunch (available to all students but generally appropriate for grades 5-12). Unless a school has a revised contract, most meals come with a cold fruit or vegetable, a snack and a beverage. These items are generally not listed on-line, but are available to students during lunch time.
Small Lunches(At select schools only. Available to TK and Kinder ONLY): Includes a 3oz portion of protein, ½ c (or 1 oz) of Carbohydrates, 1 cup of fruits and vegetables and a 4-6 oz beverage.
Regular Lunches (Available to all grades. Recommended for Grades 1-5): Includes a 4oz portion of protein, ½ c (or 1 oz) of Carbohydrates, 1 cup of fruits and vegetables, a snack and a 4 -6 oz beverage.
Big Lunches (Available to grades 1-12. Recommended for Grades 6-12): Include: Includes a 6oz portion of protein, 1 c (or 2 oz) of Carbohydrates, 2 cups of fruits and vegetables, a snack and a 5oz beverage.
DRINKS: The students choose from skim milk, low-fat Tru-Moo Chocolate milk, and 100% Juices.

WHEN TO ORDER: You can start placing your student lunch orders on the 24th of each month at www.LaurensLunches.com. For example, you can order October lunches starting on the 24th of September.
ORDERING DEADLINES: We encourage you to purchase lunches for the whole month at a time. This makes it much easier for us to plan our shopping lists appropriately, ensures your student receives the lunches they want, and it saves you money! To buy lunches at your school's set price, you must place your monthly order by the 3rd of each month. After the 3rd of the month, lunches are considered EMERGENCY LUNCHES and prices increase $.50 per lunch when ordered on-line.
EMERGENCY LUNCHES ON-LINE: Emergency lunches can be purchased on-line after the 3rd of the month either daily or for the entire month. If you place your order daily, you must get your order to us NO LATER THAN 10pm THE NIGHT BEFORE to assure your child gets their desired selection. Reminder: Orders placed after the 3rd of the month increase in price by $.50 each.
EMERGENCY LUNCHES AT LUNCH TIME: Depending on the policy of the individual school, Lauren’s Lunches may provide a limited amount of extra lunches for purchase at lunch time. These lunches are only available with cash present at cost $10 per lunch.
Due to sickness or emergency: In order to receive credit for a purchased lunch due to sickness or an emergency, you much notify Lauren’s Lunches by e-mail at Lauren@LaurensLunches.com NO LATER THAN 9AM the day of the absence. Please give your child’s first and last name, the name of the school they attend, the grade they are in, and the date of the absence. Credit will not be given if notice is received after 9am on the day of the absence.
Due to field trips or appointments: In order to receive credit for a purchased lunch due to a field trip or an appointment, you must notify Lauren’s Lunches by e-mail at Lauren@LaurensLunches.com NO LATER THAN 48-HOURS prior to the absence. Please give your child’s first and last name, the name of the school they attend, the grade they are in, and the date of the absence. Credit will not be given if less than 48-hours notice is given
HOW LUNCH CREDIT IS APPLIED: Credits will be sent to you reimbursements to your account on a quarterly basis. Lunch credits are reimbursed at half-price.
